2013 East Texas Oilfield Expo
The 2013 East Texas Oilfield Expo, held on March 6th and 7th, 2013 at the Maude Cobb Convention Center in Longview, Texas, saw substantial growth in multiple key areas over 2012, including the number of exhibiting companies, the number of qualified industry attendees, and the physical square footage of the show, both in exhibit space and heavy equipment space.
A key addition to this year's show was the new Outdoor Exhibitor Structure, which enabled the East Texas Oilfield Expo to grow by almost 200 booths. The new structure, which featured tall ceilings, large contiguous booth blocks, and spacious, well-lit aisles, enabled the show to accomodate approximately 500 additional exhibitors from over 150 companies.
All in all, the 2013 East Texas Oilfield Expo saw 40% - 50% growth in all areas, with approximately 15,000 industry professionals attending and exhibiting across the two days of the event. This growth, coupled with a successful golf tournament, improvements and expansions to show systems and publications, continued focus on a robust and comprehensive attendance policy, and an increase in media coverage and web traffic, made 2013 our most successful East Texas event to date, and secured the Expo as a reliable marketplace-based event for oil and gas professionals to invest and see ROI.
